Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Hadspen, TAS
We are a family of five consisting of myself, Holli, my husband Tom and our three children (14,11,11). We are looking at some weekend or long weekend stays within Tasmania, some longer mainland Australia stays and we're open to any suggestions. We enjoy bush walking, beaches, snow boarding and exploring new areas. Our home is perfect for families wanting to explore the Northern end of Tasmania, or alternately it would be easy to spend an entire weekend at our property, relaxing in the outdoor spa, wandering the South Esk River, and exploring our local area.

Our home is set on the beautiful South Esk River, we have river access from our property and can swim, fish, paddle board and kayak in the river.
We have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living area, a study, laundry, lovely outdoor areas, including undercover bbq area, a 6 seater outdoor spa, lovely gardens.

Launceston has the beautiful Cataract Gorge, QVMAG Museum, many amazing restaurants and wineries. Hadspen is a 1.5hr drive to the world famous Derby mountain bike trails, 50 minutes to the George Town mountain bike trails, an hour to Devonport where the Spirit Of Tasmania docks and within an hour of many beautiful beaches, mountain walks, wineries, waterfalls, world famous Barnbougle golf course and so much more.

Holly and her family have made us feel very welcome at their place with some lovely touches. The amazing view from the house and great setup with a trampoline, hot tub and pizza oven made for many enjoyable hours at their home. It was also a great place to explore Launceston and surroundings from. Swapping cars made it easy to go to amazing places such as Cradle Mountain, Tasmania is really stunning! Holly was very easy to communicate with and we would definitely recommend swapping with this family. They've left our house in perfect condition as well and it was great to know our house would be well looked after while we were away. Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday exploring the northern region of Tasmania. Holli and Tom's house was so warm and comfortable and waking up to the stunning view of the South Esk River was a highlight. Our 8yo son loved the trampoline and basketball hoop, and the hot tub on a cold night was great! We really enjoyed touring the region: Cataract Gorge, Mole Creek Caves, beautiful Liffey Falls, raspberry pancakes, the honey farm, the Launceston Harvest Market and tobogganing on Ben Lomond. Holli's family took great care of our house and our 2yo Australian Shepherd. Holli was helpful, generous and easy to communicate with. A great swap all around.

Holli and her family have a beautiful home overlooking the South Esk River. It was the perfect set up for our family of five and a great space to relax (in the hot tub!) after days out in Launceston. The kids enjoyed walking along the river track, finding new play parks, and spotting kookaburras. Holli was an excellent communicator and I felt at ease with her looking after our home and dog :)
