We are a retired professional couple who live in a comfortable renovated 3 bed 3 bathroom single story home in the Adelaide foothills. We love being involved in our friendly local community but also love travelling in Australia and overseas. We are especially keen to explore country and regional areas of Australia rather the big cities but are open to all possibilities.

The House

Comfortable 3 bedroom 3 bathroom renovated home primarily set up for a couple but would suit family or 2 couples. Modern open plan lounge, kitchen opening on to a courtyard and back garden. There is a large flat screen TV with Amazon Prime etc, a combustion wood heater in the fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioning and ducted cooling throughout. Out the back is a large leafy garden with outdoor area, barbecue, fruit trees, vegie garden, spa (not always available) and a half court tennis court.

The things we love about living here

Quiet friendly neighbourhood opposite Morialta Conservation Park which has a winter waterfall and offers bush walks for all levels of fitness where koalas are regularly seen. We are close to the Adelaide Hills and a 15-20 minute drive to the CBD.
Easy access to public transport to visit city, zoo, botanic gardens, museum, art gallery and the central markets. Close to cafes restaurants and shops
Easy access to wineries in Adelaide Hills, Barossa and McLaren Vale.
