Hello, We are an Australian-Spanish couple with 4 children, 2 of them are adults so won't be travelling with us, we'll be travelling with the 11 and 14 years old. Marta is Spanish and Is a Chef running her own catering bussiness and Peter is Australian from Victoria, Peter work as a Project Manager and is also a Building Biologist. We are building our own Mud-brick house, a passive and sustainable natural building. We are very active and busy with schools, sports and travelling regularly. We lived in Barcelona for 14 years and now are living in Melbourne since 2015. We are responsible, clean and trustworthy people and you can be assured that we will look after your home very well. We also have a rural retreat in the north mountains of Spain where Marta is from and is where we use to spend our summers when living in Spain. We would love to hear from you...

Stunning restored former Presbitory S XVIII
Welcome to El Campanario, (The Bell tower) a peaceful rural retreat where you can find peace and forget about the rest of the world for a few days. Located in a privileged environment surrounded by nature, rivers, springs, mountains and forest. Listen to the song of the birds and the silence of the valley. Observe how wild horses roam around grazing, how the deer jump around, hiding quickly in the leafy forest and how the stork comes to its annual nest to raise its little ones. Our stunning house was completely rebuilt in 2008. It was an old Presbitory and has been carefully and lovingly restored into a spectacular rural retreat. the house is built from local stone and wood and features balconies looking over the Natural Park, mountain peaks and forest. The furniture inside has been repurpose from old building materials and many pieces painstakingly restored. The walls are made of thick blocks of stone. Comprises 4 double rooms with en-suite bathroom and balcony with views. Each bedroom has a theme, and has been decorated in style.
Downstairs is complete with a large living room and a huge table, fire place and game
It is a stunning peaceful retreat with a myriad of spectacular walks.
Close to the European Peaks, 2 hours from Bilbao, 3 hours from San Sebastián, 3 hours from Madrid, and an hour to the Cantabria coast.

Ventanilla is a small town in the mountains of Palencia, where the so-called route of the marshes is located, on the tail of the Ruesga Reservoir.
From our rural house you can see beautiful forests of oak and beech inside which if you go you can find holly junipers, you can also find different wildlife such as deer, bears. In addition to various flying animals such as eagles, hawks kites, storks which nest every year at the Bell Tower in our house, grouse, and various.
Walking through the meadows you will see domestic animals such as cows, calves, horses, colts and the odd donkey.
