Comfortable inner city 2 bedroom home, compact but not pokey. Light-filled modern open living area and kitchen at rear leads onto private courtyard and garden with outdoor entertainment area and fruit trees. Renovated in 2011 so has modern bathroom, laundry and kitchen with all mod-cons.

Ideally located to experience all that Hobart and Southern Tasmania has to offer, including Mona, Hobart's waterfront, Battery Point, Salamanca Place, Salamanca Market, Mount Wellington (there's a great view from the front door), River Derwent, Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, North Hobart restaurants.

We recently completed a swap at Andrews home in New Town ( Hobart). Andrews home is in a great location for exploring Hobart ( close access to public transport) and further afield.Wide range of local shops in walking distance. Andrews home is welcoming and comfortable and sharing his courtyard vegetables and fruit was very much appreciated. Andrew is a generous swap host and all communications between us were easy and welcoming. Andrew was a great guest at our apartment too. Highly recommended.

We have just had our first House swap experience wit Andrew in his lovely house in Hobart. his home is well situated and because we had arranged a car swap as well, we found exploring easy. Andrews home is a cooks dream,even complete with fresh herbs and vegetables outside ready to pick! Even in July, Andrews house was cosy and comfortable and Andrew was a delight to deal with and was very accommodating. WE would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Andrew for future house swaps.

Andrew's home in New Town (Hobart) was a perfect place to explore beautiful Tasmania. We managed day adventures every day, all the waterfalls in full beauty after all the rain & had 2 nights out at Strahan on the West Coast witnessing the serene wilderness of the area. The Road Trip from Mid North Coast NSW was a great way to see our beautiful countryside which is so green atm & the Spirit of Tassie easy to negotiate..more so now being at Geelong. Andrew communicated with ease & was patient with our dates as we had been trying to secure a swap throughout the pandemic

Andrew's home is in New Town in Hobart which is quite close to the CBD and the centre of happenings in the city. Communication was quite good considering we organised the swap inside 3 weeks. Andrew's home had everything we needed plus a lovely garden with fruits and vegetables which we were happy to water.(and sample some juicy plums!) We also found the most amazing bakery/patisserie a few blocks away to enjoy breakfast each day we were there. The car swap came in handy to get us about before we took off touring and all in all was a very successful swap.

Andrews home is very close to all Hobart has to offer including the best restaraunts The home is warm,private and comfortable. Very friendly owner great place to stay
