Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Harpenden, Home Counties, Hertfordshire
Claire, Nick, Christian (2009) and Daniel (2013) are open to offers for school holidays in the UK/Europe, but are also always on the look out for Sydney house swaps so we can visit family and friends. Our next visit is likely to be Easter 2025, but open to options before or after that. We have swapped in Sydney 4 times before, so can put you in touch with previous families for a reference. Harpenden is a lovely town with a large common (open green space) and a good variety of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Directly behind our house is a bridal path walkway through the woods.
The rail line from Harpenden station directly serves:
* Central London (28 min fast train to St Pancras for connections to Eurostar)
* Luton Airport (6 min, easy access to Europe)
* Gatwick Airport (55 min)
We are 5 miles from the historical Roman city of St Albans, which has a stunning cathedral, a lively street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays and plenty of pubs and restaurants.
