Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Cowaramup, Margaret River, WA
We have previously holidayed in a campervan in Western Australia, or flown to be with family in South Australia. Recently we've decided that house swapping offers a new option for us (because we sold the camper van and bought a boat!) and we are super keen to give it a try. With 2 boys, 14 and 12, we are mostly keen on swapping school holidays.

Built in 2014 this is a modern character home on half acre of landscaped grounds surrounded by native gardens. We love the warmth of timber, so have jarrah kitchen bench tops and cupboards, blackbutt floors and feature stone throughout. We have two boys, 14 and 12, so we have trampoline, basketball hoop etc, and lots of space outside for running around.

We are in Cowaramup, a small town on the south west coast of Western Australia. We are between Dunsborough/Yallingup and Busselton to the north and Margaret River/Augusta to the south. It is a world-renowned tourist area with wineries, surf, caves and great beaches.
You can be hugely active (mountain biking, walking the Cape-to-Cape track, swimming/surfing) or just enjoy the food and wine and scenery of the region.
So many attractions are within an hour's drive: e.g. Forest Adventures (zip-lining course perfect for kids/teens); a walk out along Busselton jetty (longest jetty in southern hemisphere); fishing, snorkelling, surfing. Horse-riding activities, mountain bike tracks and trails, bush walking.
Cowaramup itself is a great little town... we have a herd of fibre-glass cows in our main street. In 2014 we broke a Guinness Book of World Records for 'most people dressed up as cows' - and our town made world news!
