We are an active, retired couple in our late 60s who are foot-loose and fancy-free and are open to new adventures. Laura is a retired real-estate agent and Max owned a successful specialist retail business. We have completed 10 successful house swaps between us over the years, both in Australia and internationally so we know how to respect and care for your home as we do our own. We wish to swap with a single person or couple, no children or pets, as 1 of our 3 bedrooms is set up as a computer room and another bedroom is a pinball room. We are a pet-free home also.

10-year-old modern home with all the facilities required for a comfortable stay no matter what the season. Split-system heating and cooling in lounge area and bedroom with ceiling fans in all other rooms. Bamboo floors throughout the living area with carpeted bedrooms. Gas cooking with fully-equipped kitchen and a very well stocked spice drawer! Ensuite with shower and bath in the main bathroom. Streaming paid tv channels, computer, unlimited wi-fi, lots of books, DVDs, CDs. Neat, easy-care outdoor courtyard with outdoor 2-person heated spa which can be used cooler in summer. Outdoor BBQ. 2-minute walk to bus stop with a 15 minute journey right into the heart of Perth's Northbridge restaurant/theatre/museum area. 25 minutes drive to our beautiful beaches and the same distance from the Swan Valley winery area. Car swap considered - we have an open-top sports car.

We had the perfect house swap experience with Laura and Max. Great communication in the organising of the swap. Always available to answer questions and offer local information on Perth and WA. The home provided all the modern conveniences with a very comfortable bed, and very clean and well presented home. Located walking distance to shops including well stocked IGA and wonderful retro fitted cafe that we loved. Perth city and beautiful beaches only a short drive away. We just had a 2 1/2 month long home exchange with Laura & Max in their home in Nollamara. We had a fantastic time and we enjoyed our time in Perth.
