Hi, I (Melissa) was a member of an international home exchange for a few years, and now this more local one. We are a middle aged couple who work partly from a home office in Devonport and partly at outside workplaces. I am formally of Lennox Head in far north NSW and escaped to the cooler climate of Tasmania 2 years ago. My partner is born and bred Tasmanian. We are social people who frequently access the bars & eateries on the north coast; the cinema; and weekends away around the State, visiting Cradle and Launceston. Would welcome you to just treat the home as your own ! We are in an ideal location to have a stopover in a central location to explore the north.

A well kept weatherboard home, polished floorboards, with two bedrooms furnished with Queen beds and a third being an office. We are 3 minutes drive and 10 min walk in one direction to all the shops and restaurants and 6 min drive in another direction to the beach.
There is a very comfy lounge in the living room, TV’s with all the Apps in lounge and in one bedroom, a lovely fireplace and a well equipped kitchen.
The house has everything you need.

We are a cruisy one hours drive from Launceston, with many attractions on the way such as the raspberry farm, Anvers chocolates and Ashgrove cheese.
There are a number of wineries within 30 minutes of Devonport and places like the Spreyton Cider Company. We have some lovely walks that go up and around the lighthouse / the bluff, with a great cafe at the bottom.
Within a 20 minute drive is the lovely beachside village of Penquin.
