We are a family of five. Matt & Amanda are local business owners. Our two adult daughters live in Wollongong together, working and studying there, but will join us on holidays. Our son is 18 and now that he has his licence is rarely home. We've lived in Callala Bay since 2007 and love exploring all that the Shoalhaven area has to offer engaging in various water activities, bushwalking, riding, boating etc. We'd love the opportunity to swap homes with you and will treat it as our own. Unfortunately due to allergies we can’t accept swaps where indoor pet cats and dogs are involved.

Large 5 bedroom home in a bush setting. Our home was built in 2013 and is two storeys with a huge backyard. The bedrooms have the following configuration: 1 king + ens, 1 queen + ens (shared downstairs bathroom), 1 queen, 1 single and 2 single. There's also a futon bed in the upstairs living area. The master ensuite includes a bath as does the main bathroom and the downstairs powder room also includes a shower, making three in total. All bedrooms have fans and there is ducted airconditioning.
There are two main living areas, one upstairs and one down and a large outdoor entertaining area that includes BBQ and spa. Both living areas have flat screen TVs with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + available.
There's a pool table in the downstairs living area, a table tennis table in the garage and toys available. You are welcome to use bodyboards, surfboards, paddleboards, kayaks and bikes. We have various vehicles available to swap with you so there's no need to hire a car.
Our home is about 1.5km from the beach and boat ramp in Callala Bay and 3 min drive from the longest white sand beach in Jervis Bay: Callala Beach. The local IGA supermarket is 650m away along with other local shops and eating places.

Callala Bay is the northern most village in beautiful Jervis Bay. Most of the homes in Callala Bay are lived in so the location has a quieter, family vibe rather than the touristy vibe of Callala Beach, Huskisson and Vincentia.
In Callala Bay/Beach you have usually calm & safe white sand beaches as well as two tidal creeks that become beautiful lagoons at high tide. There's a boat ramp and jetty and a few parks where you can BBQ. Callala is a bush meets beach location with endless bush trails to explore on a mountain bike just around the corner.

Our recent house swap in Callala Beach was one our best holiday's yet. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Jervis Bay area each day and coming home and relaxing in Matthew's gorgeous, well equipped spacious home. Callala Bay has gorgeous crystal-clear waters and white sand, which was perfect for snorkeling. The convenience of exploring the area on bikes added an extra layer of enjoyment to our daily adventures. Matthew's house itself was a haven of comfort, we loved relaxing in the hot tub while the kids enjoyed running around the enormous backyard making use of the trampoline and ping pong table. Matthew and his family took great care of our home while we were away, and I would recommend them to anyone!

We had a fantastic time staying at Matt and Amanda’s incredible home. Their house was immaculate and wonderfully appointed with everything you require for a beachside holiday including the spa which was so relaxing and the height of decadence! The place is enormous and has one of the biggest back yards I’ve ever seen! All manner of surf craft and toys were available too, meaning the kids had an absolute blast exploring the beautiful beaches of Jervis Bay. Matt an Amanda also took wonderful care of our house, leaving it spotless, as well as our dog Zulu, who was well looked after. The communication too, was terrific in the lead up and all throughout the swap. I thoroughly recommend them for any future swaps and would happily have them stay at our place again in the future.
