Hi there, we have 2 x children (Maya, 15yrs & Hayden 12yrs) and currently live on the Atherton Tablelands in FNQ. We both spend most of our time buying and renovating properties but Scotty has recently returned to FIFO work. We are currently putting the final touches on our latest project - a steel frame house on 5 acres on the edge of town. We own a number of pets including a 6 yr old KelpiexStaffie (Binda), 4 horses (Sophie, Lacey, Millie and Prancer) and 7 x cows. We love a clean, neat and tidy house and obviously love caring for animals! We also love travelling and exploring so love the opportunity to spend some time in other areas while caring for your home and pets. We love bushwalking/hiking, horseriding and mountain-bike riding so would love areas with these opportunities.

Our home is a cosy, comfortable, family-friendly newly renovated home nestled on the edge (walking distance) of Malanda, a small country town in the stunning Atherton Tablelands. Malanda is central to the spectacular crater lakes, Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine, Lake Tinaroo and the popular tourist village of Yungaburra. It is also located an hour and half drive from Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
The Atherton Tablelands is home to world-class mountain bike trails, numerous and varied bushwalks (with the possibilities of platypus and tree kangaroo sitings), offers water skiing and fishing on Lake Tinaroo and is just over half an hour drive from the famous Herberton Historic Village. The Atherton Tablelands offers a much cooler/milder climate than the far northern coast but is close enough to the coastal tourist attractions to make it the perfect base to explore!
We have a 6 yr old kelpie x staffy (Binda) who we would be happy to consider leaving if appropriate.
Malanda offers a supermarket, a number of cafes, a bakery, and local pub. There is also a new pump track, a children's adventure playground and the Malanda Falls are a 5 minute drive from our home. Perfect for families.
