We are a family who loves to travel and explore. Our 2 boys are well behaved and respectful, we would treat your home as our own and are grateful to have this opportunity to swap. Our home is a true country escape on a quiet 3 acres bordering farming land so it feels expansive. Open, bright and modern. Our small town is quaint and friendly with a beautiful bluestone pub, homewares store, bakery, general store, organic cafe. Plenty to do if you love nature including river walks/swimming + bike parks. 20 mins from the city of Geelong. 50 mins from Melbourne. This will be your base for day trips down the Great Ocean Road or to the Goldfields of Ballarat. We have an extensive fruit orchard, vegetable garden and chickens so fresh eggs every morning. Children most welcome. Dogs welcome as chickens are housed apart. Our elderly dog loves company and is easy to care for but wants to be with people all the time now so we will look to take him with us.

3 Acre Country Escape. Modern designed house with lots of glass windows so you feel you are part of the landscape. Our home is not precious or perfect, clean and organised and comfortable but very family friendly.
Very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac so very safe for kids.

We have just arrived home from a non simultaneous swap with Carlie, Paul and their boys. They looked after our house and dog, Murphy boy our big gentle groodle. What a wonderful experience we have had with this kind, generous and respectful family. The communication throughout was easy and our house was left just as we left it, everything in its place and the washing machine already going with the first load. What was an absolute stand out was that this thoughtful family even left with a kind suprise and freshly cooked soup. Murphy boy was so well cared for and we loved the thoughtful updates on how Murphy was going. So grateful for this lovely family. Can definitely say we would be happy to hand over our house keys anytime to this family.

We recently enjoyed a long weekend escape at Carlie and Paul’s wonderful light filled country house. The house was very spacious and clean and had everything you could need for a wonderful getaway. Ours kids enjoyed the toys and large backyard to run around in. The location and easy access to many of the great sights and places we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the country and all it has to offer, lovely cafes, local pub and walking/bike trails. Carlie was so easy and kind to communicate with, with follow up texts/call we got all the details right to allow for a smooth and wonderful house swap experience. Our home was treated as if it were their own and left clean and tidy. We would be happy to swap again with this beautiful family. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Thank you for a great weekend away.

Carlie’s house is the perfect country getaway. We spent the Easter long weekend at their house and had a wonderful, quiet getaway. We spent time cooking and relaxing in the beautiful home, our kids played with the toys, Guinea pigs and chickens and we went into town for coffees, a lovely pub lunch and some playground time for the kids. They looked after our house perfectly and we’re super helpful and respectful. Couldn’t recommend a swap with Carlie and Paul enough!
