We are both in our late 60's and have enjoyed home exchanges to England Canada NZ & Australia and love the house swap concept. We have 4 adult sons living in Sydney, NSW Central Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane. We moved from NZ to Australia 25 years ago to enjoy the lifestyle and weather Qld brings. We love living so close to the water and been able to enjoy lovely walks along the water front and biking further afield enjoying the scenery & cafe's along the way .

Great bayside location with modern 2 plus bedroom villa, with open plan living/dining/kitchen, snug with another TV and a great covered patio situated in a peaceful street overlooking native bushland and only a short walk to water or 2 minute bike ride...great for a relaxing holiday in a quaint village atmosphere offering lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. 20 minute train ride to CBD of Brisbane and 40 minutes from either Gold or Sunshine Coasts, 15 minutes to airport.

Great seaside getaway, walk or bike along the foreshore to cafe's and restaurants. You can catch the train to the city, Gold Coast or up the coast with the station only a 5 minute drive from our house.

We had a wonderful time during our exchange with Ann and Rex at their very comfortable and well appointed home. The use of their cycles absolutely made the stay. The kilometres of wide, ocean front bike and pedestrian paths allowed for safe and very beautiful rides. The location was also only a ride away from supermarkets and coffee shops, we found a favourite. An added bonus for us was the easy drive to visit friends in Brisbane. We would love to do it again sometime.
