House Swap with us

Our 3 bedroom home is located just a few blocks from the main street of Blackheath. Blackheath is at the very top of the Blue Mountains (10-15 minutes from Katoomba), and is best known for it's restaurants and bush walking. It has a lovely village feel. We are also adjacent to the local sports oval. The home has a large kitchen, fireplace, central heating, 2.5 bathrooms and two living rooms/spaces, plus an office.

The House

Our house is a large traditional Mountains weatherboard home. It features a spacious backyard, open plan kitchen with a fireplace, freshly renovated bathrooms, a study and central heating. It is a warm space, kid and pet-friendly. We love our home as it is the perfect size for a busy family.

We are a middle-aged couple with a well-behaved teenage daughter and an adorable black Labrador. (Guess who wrote that?) Our daughter has a neat nicely decorated single bed room - perfect for boys or girls. Main bedroom with ensuite. The guest/third room also has an ensuite.

We would love to welcome you to our home and give you some suggestions/directions to great spots in our local area - eg. bushwalks, restaurants, and lookouts.

The things we love about living here

Blocks away from town centre. Short walk to great restaurants and cafes. Opposite the town sports oval and park. Close to numerous bush walks. Walking distance to train station. The National Park is where our town sits. Lovely local Blackheath golf course. Fantastic local pool nearby (walking distance) and several parks. Short drive East to lovely local villages Katoomba, Leura and Wentworth Falls. Wentworth Falls Lake is lovely for picnics, kids play area, SUP and canoeing. 10 minute drive West to Mount Victoria for more cafes and restaurants. Plus the most delightful "old time" cinema with a terrific range of foreign/alternative movie options and a snack bar with homemade treats/snacks/beverages.
