Outgoing, social family of four (plus a cat and an Axolotl). Parents are both well travelled working professionals (Solicitor/IT Consultant) with a 10 year old boy who loves all things LEGO, reading and Minecraft, and an 8 year old girl who also loves Minecraft, reading, arts, and rollerskating. We are open to any Australian destinations, mostly looking at swaps over the school holiday periods.

Fully renovated family home with 3 bedrooms, a study, a cat, and an Axolotl. Situated in Preston which is a rapidly developing popular Melbourne suburb in a quiet back street close to nearby shops, restaurants and bars. Our street includes a nice park with kids play equipment and football ovals just at the end of it.
We are close to all forms of public transport for getting into the CBD, the Thornbury/Northcote High Street precinct, or Northland Shopping Centre. There is a bus stop at the end of the street, a tram line 10 minutes walk away and a train line about 20 minutes walk. The tram or bus will take you into the CBD in about 40 minutes, or driving will take about 25 minutes.
The house requires very little maintenance as the garden is mostly made up of succulents but a small vegetable garden would need watering in the warmer months. Our cat (Ruby) needs some love and feeding and the Axolotl just needs food every couple of days. Unfortunately we cannot have other cats or dogs brought here due to the nature of our own.
We have central heating and air conditioning to maintain adequate house temparatures. The kitchen has gas cooking with an electric oven, a twin boiler Breville coffee machine, Thermomix, microwave, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, popcorn maker, dishwasher and instant pot (pressure cooker). The main bathroom includes an operational spa bath and there is an ensuite bathroom with a shower and amenities. The laundry contains a washing machine but no dryer. The TV is connected to Netflix, an Xbox 360 and unlimited WiFi is also available.
Outdoors there is a trampoline and monkey bar/ swing set for the kids plus a full entertaining size deck with a Weber Baby Q BBQ.
