We are approximtely 3.5 hours drive from Sydney Central.
The cottage is secluded, fully self contained, tastefully furnished and nestled at the top of a hill with beautiful views. Set amidst 150 acres of natural bushland; old trails make for some fun hikes or rides for those who want to go adventuring and perhaps come across some local wildlife. The property has kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, large goannas and you might even see some deer, goats or pigs.
Of an evening, watch the sunset and light your firepit (firebans permitting) or stay inside with the warmth of the combustion fire and enjoy a romantic evening with a partner, or fun with family or friends.
Mudgee night skys has zero light pollution & after sunset it is pitch black -Stars light the skies full of wonder. Not until you leave the cities or big town that you realise what you've been missing.
The linen press is full of old styled boxed games and there are plenty of books to read.
Mudgee boasts many fine wineries and tour operators that will pick you up from the property.

There is a booster for full vodofone reception. For Testra it depends where you are standing in the house or on property. Optus we haven't had much luck with at all.
Local channels available through lounge room large screen tv.
Download your own movies before you come and cast up to TV or we have a huge selection of DVDS!
A bluetooth boombox is provided for you to link your pre-recorded music indoors or outdoors and with no closeby neighbors you can obviously.....crank it!

Main bedroom - Queen bed
Second Room - Queen bed
Third Room - One double bed and one Queen Sized Futon. The Futon is only made up for bookings of more than 4 guests and upon request so please let me know when booking if it is required. The futon when made up will have everything all the other beds have including electric blanket in winter, it is very comfy to sleep in. Access to this room is off front verandah so consideration must be given to sleeping arrangements re children.
Water is Precious!
Clothes Washing, if needed, can be done at local laundromats in town (10 minutes drive away). Otherwise just bring enough clothes so you don't need to do laundry.
This is an operating BnB cottage we would like to use for house-swapping to get away ourselves when it is vacant. It gets great reviews and people really seem to love the remoteness and sanctuary feel.
