We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) and both my husband and I work in HR so work from home a lot of the time. Our kids are 2 and 5 and very well behaved if not a little loud at time :)

We have only recently moved into our forever home which is a Californian Bungalow which the previous owner renovated beautifully. It has 3 large bedrooms inside as well as a garage out the back which we use as a study and could also be set up as a bedroom. We have one full bathroom and an additional toilet in the laundry.
There is a large open living space including flat screen tv, large dining table and chairs and big kitchen. Dining area opens outside onto the deck via bifold doors which creates a wonderful open space during the warm summer months.

Coburg is a vibrant inner north suburb of Melbourne. We live in a northern pocket of Coburg which is very family friendly and has lots of beautifully renovated houses. Walking distance from the house are many cafes, a few restaurants, the train which can access the cbd, as well as other inner north suburbs and is also easy access to the city link to get to other parts of the city.

We spent a lovely long weekend at Sarah's home in the city. Sarah was so lovely and her communication was excellent in the lead up to the swap and during. If you are looking for a city adventure but want to be in a quiet area then this is it Sarah's home is warm and cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a short drive into the city for IMAX and dinner in Lygon street. We went to the Coburg farmers market for coffee, pastries and fresh produce. Explored the Pentridge prison area and walked the lovely streets to visit O'Hea's deli to pick up desserts for Easter lunch with family. We were grateful to be able to take our elderly dog with us and he had a very secure yard to roam in. Sarah left our home exactly as we prepared it for them and we would recommend them for a swap anytime.
