We welcome you to enjoy our home in the hills! It is a beautiful renovated 2 bedroom (1 x queen & 1 x king bed) cottage situated on a peaceful & private acre of treed land. Enjoy privacy from the large rear patio which overlooks 100 acres of pristine, rolling cattle grazing farmland. Dine alfresco or enjoy a game of pool/snooker on the full sized table.
Our house is not luxurious in size... it is cosy, comfortable and beautifully furnished. It is our home and we love it! We are sure that you will too.
Witta is located only 8 minutes drive from the popular hinterland town of Maleny. A 10 minute stroll will see you at our local Witta cafe where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea or dinner on weekends. The fabulous wine bar next door also serves up boutique wines, spirits and beers! Monthly weekend farmers markets are also just around the corner. If you are wanting to venture further a 40 minute drive will see you on one of the Sunshine Coast’s stunning beach’s ! The best of both worlds…
We are empty nesters tho sometimes travel with our 2 young adult children.

Witta is a small community located 8km from the delightful Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Maleny which lies in picture-postcard dairy country, interspersed with rainforests. Located high in the Blackall Range, about 30 kilometres south-west of the coastal town of Caloundra, the area is renowned for its rural environment and numerous scenic spots.
All around Maleny arts and craft galleries abound. In addition to the local Witta cafe which is a 10 minute walk from our home, there is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants interspersed throughout Maleny. Most eateries feature local and organic produce in a picturesque setting which is just a 90 kilometre drive north from Brisbane, but 1,000 kilometres from the cares and pressures of the big smoke.
There's a myriad of sightseeing opportunities in the area, including panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains. Bushwalking and bird-spotting are popular pastimes in this area. You can also explore the walking trails through the lush rainforests of the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.
