With views to Conway National Park, you will be delighted with the birds and butterflies of the area. You can walk to Airlie Beach and enjoy a plethora of restaurants and live bands every night of the week, or you may prefer to catch a shuttle bus that can be arranged.
The House: Starting with the street appeal with a mixture of industrial chic with bold gabion walls and oxidised palings, setting the tone for the rest of the home.
The door opens to a stunning staircase with Vic Ash timber and steel features, on the lower level there is the fourth bedroom with own ensuite and additional media room.
At the top of the stairwell there is large study filled with natural light and professional, functional cabinetry.
The upper level is open and breezy with small balcony at the front and large patio to the rear opening up to flat backyard.
The large kitchen is beautifully appointed with perfect balance of dark elements and timber highlights with oversized stone waterfall benchtop and butler's pantry.
The bathrooms are also finished with the same impeccable style with full length timber look benchtops and black feature fixtures.
The additional bedrooms are large and have built-in robes
The master bedroom has its own private balcony at the front and dual robes with stunning ensuite.

Mario was very accommodating and always replied to my messages within a very short period of time. Mario's house was very modern, clean and very well located. We did a non-simultaneous swap that allowed us to visit at a time that worked very well for both of us. We enjoyed cooking in a state of the art kitchen as well as dine out at the local pub with a courtesy bus to pick us up or drop us off. We often walked into Airlie Beach or to the supermarket close by. This area is one of the most beautiful places in Australia and one of my favourite.

Mario and Lindas' home in the beautiful Whitsundays was a fabulous home swap. They were so accommodating, with excellent communication prior and throughout the home swap. The home is stunning and extremely well appointed, modern and spacious with a beautiful outlook overlooking a native Australian Rainforest canopy of eucalyptus trees and ferny hill. The art work (which is Linda's) is absolutely stunning. The location is a 2 minute drive into Airlie beach, a 1 minute drive to Abel Marina and a 6 minute drive to the Port of Airlie. There is a supermarket about a 2 min drive or 10 minute walk from the home. The location is excellent. I swapped homes with Mario and Linda for 10 days and it was honestly one of the nicest breaks I have had, being able to do daily walks along the beach (with their gorgeous dog charlotte) that I offered to take care of while I was staying was a true highlight. The home swap was perfect, from the key exchange at the airport to coming home to find my home in mint condition. I would highly recommend a home swap with this wonderful couple.

My two weeks stay at Cannonvale over December'22 / January'23 was great, I could not have asked for more. Mario and Linda have a fabulous modern home, very comfortable, spacious, light filled. Easy access to several beaches and the Airlie Port for ferries to the islands, plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping. A drive to Bowen is 30-40 minutes away and worth the trip. I had the good fortune to meet Mario and Linda prior to the swap, a lovely couple and over a few wines we exchanged plenty of recommendations and advice for our respective suburb and surrounds. I had no doubt that I would return to my home and find it as I had left it, neat and tidy, which is what I returned too. I would not hesitate to recommend this comfortable home in a lovely area for a successful house swap - ten out of ten!
