We are a family of four, with two primary school ages sons. We regularly visit the Sunshine Coast and Mornington Peninsula to visit family. We play tennis, soccer, cricket and going to the beach and bushwalking.

The House

We have a 1940s Californian Bungalow with a pool and are ten minutes drive to Coogee Beach in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
Sydney airport is a 15 minute taxi or Uber ride away. We are seven minutes walk to the Sydney Light Rail (Kingsford Juniors Stop on the L3 Kingsford line), which runs to Circular Quay via Moore Park (SCG), Surrey Hills, Central Station and Sydney City.
We have two living areas. There is a north facing lounge with a six seater couch and TV adjoined by a room with two single seat lounges. One of these is a fold out sofa bed. There is also a south facing undercover outdoor living space with a four seater lounge and six seater dining table. We have a good internet connection.
We have a sunny and leafy backyard with a pool, barbecue, ping pong table (sits on top of the out door dining table), trampoline, water feature and hammock.
Our kitchen adjoins the dining room (with Smeg coffee machine, dishwasher, soda stream, air fryer and slow cooker). The dining room seats five. We have a separate laundry, which is adjoined by a separate toilet.
The main bedroom has a queen bed and the two kids bedrooms have a loft bed and fold out sofa bed each. All rooms have plantation shutters.

The things we love about living here

We are close to everything Sydney has to offer, in a quiet, community minded, residential neighbourhood. Randwick shop are five minutes drive and have a local cinema, diverse restaurants, supermarkets and a high street.
Coogee beach (10 minutes drive) is a beautiful beach with surf and is family friendly. We will leave beach towels and suncream so you don't need to carry yours. You can swim from November to April (unless you don't mind the cold water). Surfing courses are available at nearby Maroubra beach (12 minutes drive). The Coogee promenade area has restored historic buildings and spacious parks. Stylish restaurants compete with fish and chip shops and cafes.
