The House

This executive home in Hobart is located on the city’s sunny eastern shore, less than 10 minutes drive to the city centre.

We are in the family-orientated suburb of Lindisfarne, with fabulous views down the Derwent River. The street is a dead end so it’s very quiet.

The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. The contemporary open plan kitchen/dining makes for easy living, opening onto a deck with BBQ and outdoor setting. The home is less than 10 years old and features all modern conveniences. Double glazed to keep you warm and toasty should Hobart turn on a cold snap!

Master bedroom with queen bed, complete with ensuite. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have double beds and are serviced by a luxe family bathroom. A second living space with TV and deck means everyone can spread out. Spare mattresses available if you have additional children.

Please note, the home is split over 3 levels and features 2 flights of stairs. This makes it unsuitable for toddlers or those with accessibility challenges.

We have one super friendly elderly ginger cat who is very low maintenance. We’d prefer it if he could stay at home with you, but that’s negotiable.
We also have a Labrador but would relocate him for the stay as he’s blind and will stay with a friend.

The Location

Explore Hobart and its fabulous surrounds with ease. MONA, kunanyi/Mt Wellington, Salamanca Market, Bruny Island, Port Arthur - all are easy from here. Hobart is the perfect family holiday destination as there’s something for everyone. Markets, museums, art, gourmet food and wine, wildlife, bushwalking and all things outdoors.

The suburb of Lindisfarne is on the opposite side of the river to the city centre. It’s just 10 mins by car to the CBD. There are regular buses and Ubers are easy. Lindisfarne is a quiet family friendly suburb by the river. It features plenty of parks and stunning walking tracks.

This is a great base to explore southern Tasmania. Day trips galore await! Everything from vineyards and historic townships to mountains peaks and pristine beaches.
