We are in our late 50's and looking to swap to the Gold coast region, down to Byron. We are an active couple interested in hikes, surfing, jet-skiing, yoga, reading and enjoy markets, adventures and eating wholesome food. We prefer early nights in bed and to get up early and walk, surf, meditate, yoga or go out for breakfast. Both Phil and I are quiet, conscientious people who care about the planet, people and animals. Phil is a partner in a lawfirm. I run our AirBnb which I love. We have mountain bikes here, and surfboards for guests who are interested.

Our modern home is set on a beautiful, flat, 1000 square metre section. We have 100 acres of protected land behind the house which boasts numerous walking trails and is teeming with bird life
Our home is peaceful and has a gorgeous view of the mountain from the kitchen and back yard. Its always a treat to wake up to that with your morning coffee!!
We are situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a quiet, safe, suburb of New Plymouth.
The house has a beautiful spacious kitchen, dining room, a master suite on one side of the house with two bedrooms separated by a bathroom and hallway on the other side of the house with an internal laundry.
We have gas infinity hot water and gas hob cooking and in built water filter. We have a beautiful Yuga Wood fire burner (that heats, lounge, master) and a heat-pump in the hallway to service 2 bedrooms, laundry etc.
The house has a double garage with internal access.
With two sets of ranch-sliders in the lounge which openi out to the garden, summer, spring and autumn, is a lovely place to sit with a cuppa and listen to the birds.
Well built, sunny and modern it really is our retreat and a lovely space to come back to.
We have an elderly cat Willo who sleeps 80 percent of the time and a parrot Kito.

It is loved by locals for all its outdoor activities, biking, surfing, swimming, Womad festival, concerts, TSB festival of Lights, hiking, etc.
We have many cafes, restaurants, etc in the region.
