Hi all, Looking to visit your family for Christmas in the Mackay region? We are looking for any place to stay in Tasmania or South WA or South Island New Zealand, for the period 22 Dec - 12 Jan or part there off (slightly flex on dates) to celebrate our daughters 21st Birthday over the coming Christmas break. We are a happy, originally Dutch, family with a 17yr old son and 20yr old daughter. Loving travel, exploring, nature, adventure activities, Visit nice coffee shops. Bart is a Civil engineer, member of the Rural Bush Firies and a Street Chaplain in his spare time, Maria is a private Counselor, warm personality, loves long walks good chats and coffee. We have bluecards / workingwithchildrenchecks and police clearances. Our daughter has hiked Tassie before and turns 21 on the 3rd of Jan. Our son is a friendly, quiet type interested in nature and new locations We used to live in WA, and our oldest son now lives in Rockingham with his new bride. It would be great to be able to reunite over these holidays and celebrate the 21st birthday together. Our home in Mackay is in an ideal tropical location, for a tropical Christmas holiday getaway to see your family in the region, right at the beach (swim with a suit), and with a swimming pool. Waterholes and forest visits in the interior. Two hr drive away from the Whitsunday Islands but boat trips to the Mackay islands at the doorstep!!

Our apartment is right at the beach with a view over the ocean and Eimeo Beach and a creek running in front of the property. It is ideal located for families with children. The property also includes a pool for use. The apartment sports a large balcony so sitting and dining outside is an option while watching the colourful tropical sunsets. The apartment has all comforts, including reverse cycle airconditioning, wifi, all available.

We had a seamless and most enjoyable swap to Bart and Maria's ocean-side Mackay northern beaches home, and appreciated the efforts made to ensure all the logistics were made as easy as possible.
