House Swap with us

We are a professional couple who have semi-retired. I am a high school teacher and Wayne is an engineer. We enjoy an active lifestyle and love travelling. Sadly, our children are spread around the country, with two living in the Huon Valley in Tasmania. Which is why we are keen to spend around 2 -3 months in the area. We are new to this so haven't got any references for house swapping, however, we both have personal references that we could provide.

The House

The House

We live on a lovely 2 acres which backs on to the George's River scenic protection area. It is a very quiet area and our street has a rural feel. We are about 8 minutes drive to Glenfield Train Station which is about 45 minutes to Town Hall in the Sydney CBD. Our house is divided into two self contained homes. We reside in one end and the other has just been completely renovated. So, you could have family or visitors stay with you for periods of time during the house swap should you so choose. Ideally, we would like to leave our chickens during the house swap.

The things we love about living here

  • We are close to the city and yet we feel like we are in the country on two acres of bushland.
  • We enjoy the beautiful walks down to the river which back onto our property.
  • Our house is sunny and bright.
  • There are lots of flexible options because we basically have two homes in one.
