House Swap with us

We are a family of four looking for adventures and love exploring new areas. My wife (Marcella) and I (Bryce) are in our early 40's and our children are aged 7 and 9. I work as a merchant seafarer and my wife works in finance. I am currently working out of Hobart in a fly in / fly out position. We are looking for a home swap to spend some more time together as a family. We would like to swap in January and February but are open to other months also.

The House

Our home is surrounded by lush tropical gardens in a quiet area. It consists of four spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are various places to relax and has a central kitchen for cooking with the family. High speed NBN for using your favourite streaming services. There is a firepit in the backyard for cooler nights outside. You can hear the sounds of the ocean in the quiet night air.

The things we love about living here

The home is walking distance to local shops, cafes and resturants.
There are many pristine surf beaches close by for hot days and sunset walks and the local creeks in Pottsville and surrounding areas are amazing for a swim at high tide.
Plenty of fishing fun to be had.
Koalas can be spotted in the numerous bushwalks that can be done throughout the Koala reserve within walking distance from our home.
We have playing fields at the end of our street to help tire out young kids.
Our children also like to explore around the man made pond and stream within walking distance.
Plenty of nature to see at the local headlands and great spots for picnics with the family.

If you feeling visiting somewhere busier, Pottsville is situated 20 minutes from Coolangatta to the north and Byron Bay to the south, with plenty of places to explore inbetween. Gold Coast Airport is situated 20 minutes away also. There are plenty of tourist arractions such as national parks, waterfalls, Crystal Castle, The Farm at Byron Bay, Mount Warning (Woolumbin) and more. For the foodies there are several well renowed resturants close by such as Pipit!, Tweed River House, Three Blue Ducks, Paper Daisys and more.
