Hi We're Ann and Arkadii. We love exploring and travelling and have lived in Sandgate for many years and love its community feel, the bike paths, the bay, the coffee shops and easy access to transport. We haven't house swapped yet but have used Airbnb a lot and have good references there.

We have a lovely 90 year old timber 2 story house at Sandgate. It has 3 bedrooms but only one is used as a bedroom. There is air conditioning in the living space, bedroom and spare/piano room.
Downstairs is not available to rent and there is no internal access. We have 2 conventional bikes that you are welcome to use on the local bike paths. Please note that there is no dishwasher (or bathtub in the Bathroom) There is wifi and a smart TV.

Close to Moreton Bay and The Gateway Motorway. This makes it easy to get out of the city quickly particularly if you are going north to the Sunshine Coast. We are also 5 minutes walk from the train station which will get you into the city in 40 minutes.
Sandgate has a lovely village feel to it and old fashioned strip shopping. There are many cafes, and restaurants within close walking distance and you can survive easily without a car. The calm waters of Moreton Bay are ideal for boating and fishing.
