Originally from Ireland I moved to Sydney in 2005 and all my boys were born here. As a shared care Mum to three boys I'm keen to swap and share my apartment so I can take them to see more of Australia. We are headed to QLD at the start of Jan and particularly keen on Sunshine Coast on 2nd/3rd. (My apartment avail from Dec 28th) I also have a (chef) partner and some couple foodie/outdoorsy weekends away would also be great, exploring winery regions, beaches and national parks.

The House

My modern quiet apartment has two generous bedrooms (king and twin king singles) as well as a study I have converted for my youngest's bedroom. There is a spacious shaded balcony (with fly screens) and a weber barbecue. I love my huge lounge area, with mood lighting controlled digitally. Usual streaming TV (apple 4k) with Netflix and Amazon. My main bed has shower ensuite and the main bathroom has full bath. I love to cook and bake so you'll find everything you need in my equipped kitchen.
Reverse cycle zoned aircon keeps us cool in summer, but generally the apartment doesn't suffer in the heat.
There is one parking space in secured car park and more street parking.

The things we love about living here

On the Lower North Shore in Sydney our bush reserve street is a few mins walk to buses to city and other locations. 15 min walk to plenty of shops and eateries in Lane Cove village.
We are so close to sheltered Lane Cove River bushwalks, leading to Lane Cove National Park. At the end of the street is Mindarie Park, a huge kids playground paradise with basketball, rope climbing and other play equipment.
We use the local bookable tennis courts and Lane Cove Aquatic centre lots in the school holidays.
A 25min drive will get you to Manly and on to explore other beaches, or if going East it's approx 13 min across the tunnels to Centennial Park
