The House

Our cute single-fronted Victorian home is located in the vibrant suburb of Prospect. The house comprises two spacious bedrooms with queen beds and built in robes, and the central bathroom has a claw foot bath, shower and underfloor heating. The dining room looks out to a side courtyard/fernery and the large open plan living/kitchen opens on to the rear timber deck and garden. There is a large frangipani in the front garden that provides a lovely fragrant and shady entryway in summer, and high ceilings and polished boards add to the house's charm. We have raised beds at the front and a community garden bed on our verge that we plant with veggies and herbs to share with the locals.

The things we love about living here

We lived in inner north Melbourne for many years and we bought in Prospect because it felt a bit like Northcote.
We love the proximity to shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas and the Adelaide Parklands/River Torrens trails.
Prospect is a culturally rich and interesting area with a great arts scene.
We love the community spirit and our lovely friendly neighbours.
We're only a short drive from beautiful walks/hikes in the Adelaide Hills and the great beaches that Adelaide has to offer.
We think Prospect is the best suburb in Adelaide :)

The Location

We are an easy five minute walk to a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and the Palace Nova Cinema on Prospect road. We're 20 minutes walk from the North Adelaide shopping/restaurant precinct and the parklands, and the city centre is just over 4 kms away. Our house is on a friendly residential street yet close to everything Adelaide has to offer. Adelaide Oval and the tennis centre are both within walking distance, and there are regular bus services along Prospect Road to the city.
