We are a recently retired couple. We have done a lot of travelling and now want to explore the option of house swapping. Our house is a wonderful resource and Newcastle is a city that has grown a lot in recent years and is worth considering as a place to get to know.

The House

Our home is located in inner city Newcastle - close to beaches.

We are close to shops at The Junction, bus stops and local attractions like Honeysuckle and the harbour. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas inside as well as a north facing back deck and a lush back garden to explore. We have a newly renovated kitchen. It is all on one level and a very comfortable place to hang around in.

The things we love about living here

Newcastle is a very easy city to live in.
We love that we are so close to the beach and go up there most days for a quick dip.
Newcastle has lots of cafes and good coffee in abundance.
It is a very easy city to get around with all of the amenity of a larger city but much less traffic.
We are long a couple of hours by train from Sydney which is also a huge bonus as it's not too far to go for a day out - or longer!
Worth exploring as its close to beautiful spots both north and south of the city as well as the Hunter Valley Vineyards under an hour away.
