House Swap with us

We are a young married couple (10 years) in their mid thirties who have just had their first baby in February. Michael is a draftsman who runs his own business from home and Megan is a psychologist. We are looking to do some travel around QLD while taking maternity leave. We have two dogs and will need a house swap that is suitable for our dogs to join also. We are looking for a swap of 1 to 3 months and are open to all options in QLD.

The House

Large family home situated in the highly sought after area of Grange, South Australia. Our home is close to the beach and West Lakes, offering lots of walking trails and cafes close by. However, the house is also nestled in the back streets of the Grange Golf course offering a feeling of the foothills with the large shady trees. Grange Golf course is home to the very popular LIV Golf tournament that garnished international headlines last year and is due to run again in April of 2024. Property has indoor/outdoor living with bifolds that open out to a concrete pool, bbq, and large entertaining space. Inside has two lounge areas, one with a wood fire, open plan living, spacious kitchen with Miele appliances, main bedroom with ensuite and walk in robe- bedroom two has a queen bed and built in robes and bedroom three is currently set up as a nursery as we have a young baby. House is pet friendly as we have two Australian cattle dogs.

The things we love about living here

Our street is in a quiet crescent that has a playground and park on the street which our dogs often enjoy. As our street lines the golf course my husband also enjoys a membership there. Our street is quiet and has attracted mostly older couples and empty nesters- particularly people who enjoy golf!
The house is 1 minute from the beach and the popular west lakes lake which offers many opportunities for pleasant walks or cafe visits. Henley Beach is the suburb over which is very popular with tourists. And Glenelg beach as well as Adelaide city are 15 minute drives.
