Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Beaconsfield, Fremantle, WA
We are a French-Australian family of 4 who live in the Fremantle area. Both of us work in health. Our daughter is 8 and our son is 6. On the weekends in summer you can find us swimming to the pontoon at South Beach and in winter we try to explore the parks and tracks around Perth.

Our blue weatherboard cottage has 3 available bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 outside shower and toilet. Nestled on a quiet street between 2 roads that serve major bus lines, it's easy to get to the heart of Fremantle or Murdoch hub from here. With east-west air flow through the house, air-con and fans it's cool in summer and warm in winter with air-con, electric heaters and gas (partially powered by solar). There is a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in the laundry and 2 separate living spaces containing musical instruments, games, portable WiFi, a DVD player, TV and Chrome Cast. The bathroom has a generously sized claw foot bath. The garden's our little patch of paradise with monkey bars and games for the kids nestled amongst the native plants and fruit trees. With limestone touches and pops of colour, the garden is a space to really enjoy.

From our house you can walk to the local shopping centre in 10 minutes that features a gourmet grocery shop, pharmacy, medical centre, restaurant, bottle shop and more. There’s a park at the end of our street. The South Freo farmers markets can also be reached by foot on a Sunday morning and Booyembara Park is also close by.
We are really hoping to be able to do 2 house swaps for about 4-5 days each with both pairs of our in-laws over the summer: (1) From Boxing Day to New Years 2024 (or earlier in December) and (2) In the second half of January 2025. This can be flexible if needed!

Just 30 minutes from Perth City, Fremantle is renowned as Perth's Old Town, full of vibrancy, colour and culture. The streets buzz with the song of buskers, the sidewalks fill with a wild collection of art and the music that floats out from trendy cafés and bars. Home to museums and adjacent to the Indian Ocean with it's sparking beaches, it's a place you won't regret visiting.
