Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Buderim, Sunshine Coast, QLD
We are a couple in our mid/end 60's with 3 grown up children. We are both retired, Ron was a high school teacher, and Ulrike was a special education teacher. We are all well traveled and have done house swaps long term (for a year) in the past and short swaps more recently. We had a 12 months sabbatical year in 2016 which we spent in Africa and Europe. We travelled through Europe, Africa and Canada again in 2019 and returned to Australia early 2020. Since the arrival of grandchildren and another one on the way we are planning to visit more places in Australia again in the near future. One of our children lives in Tasmania (Hobart) so we are looking for a house swap to Tasmania. We will also have family moving to Perth soon so would be interested in WA as well as SA and Victoria. We are easy going and adaptable. We are flexible with dates.

Buderim is right in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. From here, you have easy access to all the coastal areas from Noosa in the North down to Coloundra in the south. Maroochydore and Mooloolaba are just 15 minutes away from our house. Our favourite spot is Point Cartwright, which has great walking paths along the river as well as different surfing beaches and a lighthouse with beautiful views.
Equally close is the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. Maleny and Montville, Kenilworth and Palmwoods are all in easy reach.

Ron and Ulrike's house in Buderim is a modern, comfortable, well appointed home tucked away in the forest amongst the birds. It is very private and a good location to explore all of the Sunshine Coast. They are a lovely, friendly couple and we enjoyed meeting them for dinner on the way there. We highly recommend this house swap.
