Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Dundowran Beach, Hervey Bay, QLD
We're now a retired couple with our beloved dog "Freya" (6 yr old Shar pei X) with our kids grown up and left home. We both worked full time (Queensland Health and the Retail Industry) and now ready to start travelling and house swapping. Our preferred house swap length would be between one to three weeks but also open to all offers. We are young at heart, outgoing with old fashion values. Your home will be treated with respect and cleanliness like it was our home. We have already completed 7 successful house swaps with each of us taking our fur babies along for the swap. "Freya" is friendly, very clean and loves food. She does sleep a lot, enjoys hugs, walks, the finer thing in life and will be outside during our house swap. We are looking forward to completing another house swap.

Beach just across the road in a relaxing and peaceful suburb. The beach is great for children, dogs and those long relaxing walks or just sitting with a glass of wine enjoying the scenery. At the end of our street there is a BBQ picnic and swing area overlooking the beach.
Or you can just relax by the pool while enjoying the Hervey Bay weather. If your into exploring and adventure then there is Fraser Island, whale watching, shopping and much more.
We have a single storey brick veneer home on 1 acre; it has 4 Bedrooms all with queen size beds. There is a large patio area overlooking the in ground pool which is prefect for those hot days.

We were delighted to swap with Judy and Gary, had a good time despite the Severe storms for the first few days. The home is in a delightful area only 100 meters to the beach with some stunning homes and water features that abound the area. The house was immaculate. The lovely, nearly level one acre block and gardens meticulously maintained and the pool was just perfect. Communication was excellent.. We made use of the area to book a day flight out to Lady Elliot Island and agree with David Attenborough, it's certainly amazing. Recommended swappers.
