We are a well-travelled family of 4; two teachers with 2 well behaved boys aged 17 & 19. We are respectful and organised house swappers, who have completed many successful swaps. Our house is recently renovated, well maintained, clean, and very quiet despite being so close to the city. We have a big back yard overlooked by a deck where we spend most of summer, and a large selection of bikes and sporting gear for the whole family.
As well as a parent's double bedroom with ensuite, there is an upstairs teenager's area with two bedrooms, bathroom and adjoining lounge. We also have a sitting room that can be closed off to serve as another bedroom with a double sofa bed. We have WiFi, a smart TV and Netflix. There is a large family room with kitchen, a study, and at the rear of the property a separate music studio and trampoline with safety sides.

We live within walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, pubs, live music venues and specialty shops. We also enjoy the independent cinema and being able to choose to walk to catch either trams, trains or buses to just about anywhere in Melbourne. There is a public pool, gym, tennis courts and 2 playing fields 150 metres from our front door, lots of parks, and a short ride or drive to two rivers that have a great network of paths for cycling, walking or canoeing. We like to ride our bikes into the city or on many of the network of bike paths in our area.

Lisa & Martin's house is fantastic! Very big and comfortable, lots of space, all the amenities and conveniences one would require. Beautiful garden and large backyard with loads of herbs, veges and fruit growing. The plums were falling off the trees in abundance and we were lucky to enjoy the occasional strawberry during our stay. Our two young boys enjoyed playing with the lego (the biggest collection I have ever seen!) and the trampoline out the back. Street parking out the front is always easy. There are lots of shops, cafes, parks and playgrounds within walking and riding distance. Easy drive to just about everything else, including the city and beyond. The bus ride into town on one occasion was very easy and convenient too. Communication with Lisa and Martin was smooth and easy, and they looked after our house wonderfully. Thanks so much, Lisa & Martin. We had a great stay!!! :)
