Hi we are Lindy and Keith a retired professional couple. We have just retired so thought we would give this a go. I have recently retired from Murdoch University. We love walking, fishing and nice secluded places. We are wanting to visit the UK and also New Zealand but are open to other options especially in Australia. We live in a beautiful spot just outside Mandurah so have the tranquil paradise as well as being able to pop out to restaurants and coffee shops in Mandurah and around. We are surrounded by water looking over the Harvy estuary which is 20 kilometres by 3 kilometres. The Indian Ocean is minutes away. We also have amazing golf courses in the area. The Cut Golf Course is minutes away. We also have an amazing train service and it is 38 minutes from Mandurah to the centre of the city of Perth. We are also only two hours to the wine region of Margaret River. We would like to swap outside of school holidays if possible and we would look after your home as we would our own. We completed a very successful house swap in England in March 2016. We have also just finished another successful houseswap in Tasmania 2017.

Two storey home which maximises views of the Estuary. The main living and dining areas are upstairs as well as the master bedroom. There is a large verandah overlooking the Estuary which is ideal for sunset drinks and balmy summer dinners and the Aussie BBQ.
Downstairs are three large double bedrooms, a family bathroom (separate toilet) and family room with kitchenette.
There is evaporative air conditioning throughout the house with split systems heating and cooling in the main living areas and study bedroom.
We are located 80 kilometres from Perth. We are walking distance to local transport and 20 kilometres to the train station which takes you to the centre of Perth. Trains operate every 15 minutes to 30 minutes, 7 days a week. Additionally we are a 2hr drive to the Margaret River wine region.

Mandurah. We live by the water so have some lovely restaurants near by. We have beautiful beaches within a couple of kilometres and have flat walkways which take us to the Dawesville Cut. You can walk, swim, kayak, fish without going too far. Our house overlooks the Harvey Estuary which is breathtaking. We are also very close to the Cut golf course.

We had a fantastic house exchange with Lindy and Keith in Dawesville, WA. We arrived on the day they left so had the advantage of their wonderful hospitality and a guided tour of the highlights of the Mandurah region. Lindy and Keith's house was comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed and provided the perfect base for exploring the south west WA region. This was our first home exchange. Lindy and Keith's friendly personalities and warm communications at all stages of the planning and the stay ensured that the exchange was a positive and fantastic experience.
