We did a very successful exchange with Jo and David in early 2024. They were a delight to deal with throughout the whole process. They were happy to be flexible in plans and even volunteered to take care of our 2 dogs (which was a great help to us). Their beautiful, comfortable and spacious apartment is brilliantly located. Overlooking Shaws Bay, it a stone's throw from the pub, cafes and walking tracks along the river. It is also only minutes by car to beaches and downtown Ballina. It really did feel like our home away from home for the duration of our stay. We would highly recommend them, their home and their town to anyone considering a home exchange.

We walked into David's place and immediately felt relaxed and on holidays. We loved it! Needless to say there is so much to do esp if you love the ocean. David and I were in touch offering ideas as to what to do and any small things and it was a pleasure to communicate him. Only reason why I wouldn't endorse this place is so no one might apply before we do again! :)

Dave and Jo were lovely to deal with - always very prompt with communications. Their home is in an idyllic spot with beautiful river views and walks. It has easy access to shopping and lovely local beaches. A very spacious, comfortable and clean home. They left our home spotlessly clean too.This was a very successful swap that we give our highest endorsement to.
