Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Upper Mount Gravatt, Southside/ Brisbane, QLD
We are a retired couple, looking to swap a house or an apartment for 3 to 6 months in Adelaide. Our son and daughter in law live in the suburb of Goodwood and we'd will like to stay in the city for a longer period than the usual holiday time frame. Swapping houses will give us the peace of mind that we're not leaving our house empty for a long length of time and reciprocally we can look after our respective houses. We are non smokers or drinkers and we love peace and quiet. Our house is homely and comfortable, situated in a quiet street - no street noise. With lovely views, to Mount Gravatt mountain. Our two storey house has unique features like an entertainment area with a wood pizza oven and a fireplace, a sun protected area with a heated 9 metres pool. The yard is spacious and fenced. Upstairs there are three spacious rooms, and one is used as an art studio. There is large bathroom with shower and a bath. Downstairs, we have the dining room, a fully equiped kitchen ,1 bathroom with a shower, the laundry and one room with a treadmill. Our house is situated in the suburb of Upper Mt. Gravatt, centrally located with a short walking distance to a small shopping centre, with doctors, dentist, and other shops, or five minutes drive to Garden City and ten minutes distance to Carindale. Buses are around the corner and Garden City is one of the biggest shopping centres in Brisbane, with central bus lines that connect with all the suburbs. Just 15 minutes drive to the CBD and 40 minutes to the Gold Coast, it makes our house a perfect candidate for a lovely holiday. Leisure Close by we have a great Bingo - Club, 'Southside Club', public library at Garden City, and the shopping centre has cinemas and restaurants. Not far, Sunnybank is a suburb which is a feast for the lovers of asian food. On Sundays we have the Mt Gravatt farmer's markets, one of the best in Brisbane and there are many Gyms and other clubs nearby. The house has split system air-conditioning in bedrooms and the main lounge area, bath, Wifi, large TV and Netflix. As a resident in this house for thirty five years, my husband and I had time to create a comfortable area for ourselves. A two storey house filled with natural light. With three bedrooms upsters and a large modern bathroom. Downstairs there is a living room, one bedroom, kitchen, laundry and one bathroom. There is a door that leads from the kitchen to a large size backyard that we have converted in a greenhouse, and a nine mts. heated pool. Brisbane's climate gives us the opportunity to have dinner outside in winter thanks to a fire place and a pizza oven. Without being a luxurious house, it is an exceptional
