Perfectly situated, our comfortable home is surrounded by Grants Head Nature Reserve at Bonny Hills on the Mid North Coast of NSW, south of Port Macquarie. The house is very private and has magnificient views overlooking the ocean, where you can see humpback whales, dolphins and majestic sunrises, with the natural headland having an abundance of birdlife and wildlife. It is a short walk to a great selection of pristine beaches. Also the Grants Beach Reserve 3.5km Walking Trail meanders through varied ecosystems adjacent to the sand dunes.
Upstairs has large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with airconditioning and gas log fire heater, opening to a spacious large covered deck area with views overlooking the ocean. This deck has a large seashell awning over it and has the flexibility to open or close depending on your needs. The main bedroom has a ceiling fan, with a bathroom located next to it ,with a bath, shower, vanity, and separate toilet.
Downstairs has large entertainment area with 8 foot pool table, 2 x Queen size bedrooms and I single bedroom all with ceiling fans, small bathroom with shower, toilet, separate laundry with washing machine and dryer and an outside large clothes line.
Outdoor entertainment areas consist of a 10 metre swimming pool with spacious timber deck and the other entertainment area has a large pot belly fire pit area, surrounded by a fernery.

Bonny Hills is a short drive of 10 minutes to the south to North Haven, Laurieton, Dunbogan and Diamond Head, where there are a number of local cafes, restaurants, RSL clubs. take-away, supermarkets, chemist, library, pool etc etc.
To the north, the city of Port Macquarie is only 27 minutes away, with an airport and many other tourist attractions including 17 gorgeous beaches, fantastic cafes and restaurants, shops, wineries, Sea Acres reserve, coastal track, Lighthouse, the Glasshouse cultural centre, playgrounds, Koala Hospital, Billabong Zoo, Camel rides, River cruises with one of the best year round climates and very friendly locals.

We swapped our home in Mooroolbark with a weeks stay in beautiful Bonny Hills where we were able to watch the whales splash about all from the comfort of Marian's lounge room. A well equipped home, thoughtful welcome touches and lovely quality linen were supplied. We loved this swap as communication was easy and effective, the home was spotless and outdoor activities were numerous. Thank you Marian for leaving our home spotless and for the thank you gifts.

Marian and Michael were generous and organised hosts. They were very clear on suitable dates and followed through on every arrangement. Their house was beautifully presented and it made for a very comfortable homeswap. The views from their house were amazing. They were very respectful of our house and left it in perfect condition. As a couple they are ideal homeswappers!
