We are a middle aged married couple, who both work in Disability, remotely providing clinical support and management of therapy teams across Australia. Our 17 yr old, low key genius entrepreneurial son wants to travel around the world on his own, so this is the happy medium we decided upon. We live in the Adelaide Hills in Nairne and are surrounded by wineries and strawberry farms, with the quaint German tourist town, Hahndorf just ten minutes drive. We are only half an hour from the city, but there is space to breathe, clean air, rolling hills, and our little town is quiet and laid back. We have a beautiful rural outlook over hills and paddocks from our back yard and we enjoy the peaceful lifestyle, with lots of lovely wineries and hidden gems to explore on our doorstep. We have two small non-shedding therapy dogs, who use a doggie door, which goes to one of our two very secure back yards. If you also have well mannered, house-trained small, fur kids and want to take them on your adventures, we’d love to take ours with us. Thinking of moving to Melbourne permanently, so happy to consider a longer stay, as well as shorter visits to different areas. We work from home, so can go anywhere in Australia, as long as there is good internet. Don’t hesitate to reach out. You only ever regret the things you were too afraid to try. There’s no time like the present.

Nearly new 4 bed, 2 bathroom, split level home located in the idyllic, relaxing Adelaide Hills town of Nairne, just five minutes from the city of Mt Barker, and 30 minutes from Adelaide city. From dawn until dusk enjoy spending time in the light filled open plan kitchen, living, and dining area, which is newly furnished and opens out to the pergola and outdoor entertaining area. From anywhere in this room you can enjoy the view over the hills, past the gorgeous very special brand new baby grand piano. In the evenings you can hear the odd cow across the paddocks and smell the fresh country air. We have a pool table, darts, gym and sports equipment, solar system, fast internet, two separate fully equipped home offices, open plan kitchen, living, dining, separate home recliner movie lounge, ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling, undercover BBQ pergola looking out over the hills from low maintenance Japanese garden. We have two small non-shedding therapy dogs, who live inside. If you want to bring your well-mannered furr kids and don’t mind us taking ours to your place, at least we’ll know they won’t be pining while we’re off enjoying our adventures.
