We are a retired school teacher (Benn) and a natural health practitioner (Diane) who are non-smokers and enjoy a quiet, peaceful life. We have friends/family in various locations that would enjoy visiting with our well-behaved 9 year old border collie. With a love of the beach, forests and nature we are open to sharing our home with another who has a similar love of beautiful, quiet locations.

The House

Our house is a single level, 2 bedroom timber cottage. There are 2 x Queen bedrooms, one bathroom, lounge, dining and kitchen. Renovated from original 1960's 10 years ago. The covered back verandah is a great outdoor area and the lush garden provides privacy to our neighbours.

The things we love about living here

We love living on the coast in this quiet area with north-facing views to most easterly aspects of The Great Dividing Range. It is a beautiful 10 minute walk through state forest to dog-friendly Hyland Park beach or 5 mins drive for shopping, cafes, river walks, swimming/surf beaches and the service centre of Nambucca Heads. Bellingen is a cultural and foodie hub just 30 mins drive into the hills with world-class forests and day trips for indulging our love of nature. Coffs Harbour is 30 minutes drive for airport, shopping centres and specialist services.
