Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Manly, Manly, NSW
We will be in London and Europe from 11/6/24 to 24/7/24 so open to a non simultaneous swap then, sorry for short notice! This swap could be with a house in NSW, or in London. We are a couple in our 60s living on the waterfront in Manly, NSW. We have lived here for over 15 years. I am English, my wife from country NSW. We have 4 children, youngest is 20, who live elsewhere. We are still active, swimming, walking. cycling etc. We are both nearing retirement. We would like an exchange in Byron Bay, anywhere up & down the coast too. And in fact anywhere nice in rural NSW preferably within about 4/5 hours drive of here. We also try go to London, rest of UK once every 2 years. We are also open to ideas of short stay swaps in NSW anytime.

Quirky, terraced 3 level house built in 1910s - 5 mins from the ferries and facilities at Manly Wharf.
We're also 50m from the lovely gentle golden sandy beach of Manly Cove. You can see the beach and harbour from all front facing rooms. Not only can you see the beach, you can be on the beach within seconds of leaving the house. You have to cross a short reserve (which has a picnic table) to reach the beach.
Being on a peninsula (or isthmus) we're also five minutes from the golden surf of Manly Beach. So close we can hear the shark alarm (rarely sounded!)
Fabulous, and sometimes busy, neighbourhood, but this is not a party house. Close to shops, amenities of Manly. So close, we can walk to the ferries, to the buses, shops & restaurants. We have no off street parking.
We have chickens in the front yard, fish in the back pond.
The house may not be the tidiest or most modern but we are very pleasant, accommodating hosts! And oh yes .. sometimes we have 1 or 2 foreign language students staying here, but do have 3 other goodsized bedrooms available.
