🌇 (We'd love to spend a week or more living as Gold Coast locals in Jul-Sep 2026!) We're a couple of professionals in our 30s, we love going out for food, coffees, going on little adventures, playing with tech for work or for fun, having friends over for a swim or a board game. Jack builds apps for a construction company in Richmond and loves a hit of tennis or a great, bingeable TV show. Jac works remotely as a tech consultant, loves exploring hidden walking trails or zoning out with friends on a video game.

We have a lovely view over Melbourne from our cosy, sun-drenched corner apartment on the 22nd floor. We have a bedroom and study that would suit a remote worker or couple, and a small but well-positioned lounge and kitchen.
Level two boasts a 25m pool, a spa, sauna, steam room, gym as well as bookable BBQs and a tennis court.
Level one and the ground floor house the 670 Chapel St mall with a fantastic deli, boutique supermarket, the great Middle Eastern Cafe, Woolworths, Priceline and a little nail and beauty place.
We love to walk along the Yarra River which is about 4mins away. You can hop on a tram down Chapel St, or easily reach the city from South Yarra station, 10mins walk away. The walkability is probably our favourite thing about living here.

Chapel St, South Yarra is filled with retail shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, and coffee spots. There's green spaces dotted around including the Tan, and an easy walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens along the Yarra River. Tram, train and bus connections are all over the place, but there's enough in walking distance to keep you busy for a fair while!

Staying at Jac and Jack’s was an absolute dream! The view from their apartment is stunning, I loved waking up to seeing hot air balloons make their way across the city skyline. The location was perfect for me too, the tram is right out front the door, close to my gym (Anytime fitness) and only 15 mins or so from the city. Jac and Jack themselves are such lovely people, really quick to respond and was thoughtful enough to leave me a gift to welcome my stay. Highly recommend staying at their place and also highly recommend them staying at yours. They left my place like they were even there!

We enjoyed a wonderful city swap at Jac and Jack’s apartment in the hub of inner city South Yarra. The apartment block was very well appointed with access to shopping Centre and car park from the building. Jac and Jack were wonderful communicators. Jac and Jack were absolutely brilliant hosts who showed Bill and I around the property and explained everything. The apartment was clean, neat and tidy and provided everything we needed. The view was spectacular and we loved enjoying the night time views with a glass of wine! The apartment was very close to public transport, shops, restaurants and bars. We would definitely come back again!

I had a fabulous swap with Jac and Jack. Two things especially made it so good. Firstly, their apartment: it’s in a great location, with amazing views over much of Melbourne, and easy access to public transport. It is very clean and well set up and they provided a good guide for operating all the appliances and information about nearby places; and is located above a commercial centre which made getting daily requirements simple. The building is clean and secure. The other thing is they are great communicators, responding quickly and thoughtfully to any questions. Highly recommend!
