Hi there! We’re a family of four lucky enough to call Pottsville home—a peaceful coastal town on the picturesque Tweed Coast. We love to travel, explore new places, and share our slice of paradise with like-minded people. We’re looking for house swaps that give us a chance to explore more of Australia, meet new people, and soak up everything this amazing country has to offer. Whether it’s by the beach, in the bush, or somewhere in between, we’d love to hear from you! We travel a lot and manage an Airbnb, and will treat your home as our own. Explore the sleepy seaside town of Pottsville, one of the most idyllic spots on the Tweed Coast. Nestled in Koala Beach, an eco estate between the ocean and the bush, our home is perfectly positioned to make the most of what this area has to offer—and that's plenty!
The house sits on a quiet loop, surrounded by bushland and paddocks. We’re just a few minutes' drive to the calm waters of Pottsville Creek, the ocean, and our laid-back village where you'll find cafes, boutique stores, an IGA, chemist and monthly Sunday markets.
The house itself includes three bedrooms—the master with a king bed and ensuite, plus two kids rooms with double beds. There is also a spare bedroom made up as an office with a spare single mattress.
Love a bit of outdoor living? Our large undercover entertaining deck is made for long lunches, sunset drinks and barbecues while the kids bounce away on the trampoline or splash in the pool.
There's loads to do nearby, including:
- Grab a coffee and a bite to eat at Hastings Point General Store.
- Watch whales pass by from the headland.
- Wander around the weekend markets in Pottsville and Kingscliff.
- Enjoy a picnic and whale watching at Hastings Point Headland.
- Surf at Cabarita Beach or head to the Goldie.
- Explore the iconic town of Byron Bay (30 mins).
- Book a fun-filled tour of Tropical Fruit World (20 mins).
- Enjoy an action-packed day at the Gold Coast theme parks (45 mins).
House swaps don't get much better than this!
Things to know:
Because the house is located in an eco estate, we can't accept cats or dogs unfortunately. We have a pet bearded dragon who is super low maintenance and might just need a feed while you're here.
