House Swap with us

We’re a creative inner-west crew who love stories, adventures, and good food. Mum is an art director with an eye for beauty, Dad is an animator who brings worlds to life, our 21-year-old son is half out of the nest studying at university (but often joins us on our travels), and our 14-year-old daughter is a curious student with big ideas. Add in our bouncy 4-year-old Aussie Shepherd and life is never dull. When we’re not sharing meals together or discovering new places to eat, you’ll find us on surf breaks, ski slopes, or bush tracks—or curled up for a family movie night. We’re especially interested in surf holidays between July–September, ski adventures in Canada or Japan in January, and London in June or July, but we’re flexible and always open to other destinations and dates.

The House

The House

Marrickville living at its best – a heritage-listed two-storey Victorian home with character, fireplaces, and inspiring views. This period property features four generous bedrooms, dark-stained hardwood floors, and three open fireplaces that make winter evenings extra cosy. For modern comfort, there’s reverse cycle air conditioning in the bedrooms and kitchen, plus a private Kylin sauna for relaxing after a long day. The home also includes an art studio/home office with a walking machine, and outside you’ll find a dog-safe backyard. With parking for five cars and elevated views over the Cooks River and across to Earlwood, it’s a rare blend of heritage charm, modern convenience, and timeless character.

The things we love about living here

  • The suburb buzzes with craft breweries, live music, and street art, making it one of Sydney’s most creative and vibrant neighbourhoods.
