Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Haddington, Edinburgh, East Lothian
I’m retired and my husband is a vet . His parents emigrated to Wedtern Australia when he was 2 and he moved back to the UK as an adult . I love fashion and enjoy styling my home. I’ve got a lovely group of friends and I love having my eldest daughter living nearby . We have a black Labrador called Ruby that we share with my neighbour . We have another adult daughter presently living in Melbourne hence our desire to swap to visit her over Christmas

Lovely old terraced stone cottage situated on a quiet sealed road , 2 miles from the local
town. It has been modernised and extended to include large open plan bespoke kitchen with bi-folding glass doors that open out onto a low maintenance garden . At the bottom of the garden there is a summer house with a woodburning stove and it’s a lovely place from which to sit and watch the wildlife that comes into the field behind us (including up to 13 deer) The kitchen includes a very comfortable seating area, smart television, and a dining area. We do love a bit of a kitchen disco and there’s a giant rotating mirrorball hanging in the kitchen complete with coloured lights.
There is a utility room with a large sink for washing, dirty boots, et cetera, and a washing machine and tumble dryer. The house is actually four bedrooms, but there are only two that we use as bedrooms the other two are used for storage and business. The lounge has an open fireplace , comfortable sofas and a cocktail trolley.
There is a super king bed in the main bedroom with a small ensuite and the second bedroom has a king size bed and a small ensuite
The family bathroom has a roll top bath
There is a large patio area at the front of the house which is south facing. There's another small summer house here and a large outdoor sofa seating area
The driveway has space for two cars
There is an aga in the kitchen, oil central heating and of course the open fireplace in the sitting room , it’s a very cosy cottage
