Hi there! We are a self-employed couple in our 50s, living in Kanimbla Valley in the Blue Mountains, surrounded by stunning escarpment views and native wildlife. We love travelling and usually prefer mid-week trips to avoid crowds and traffic, but are open to weekends and longer stays as well. We are especially interested in swapping for riverfront, lakefront, or beachfront locations. Off-grid mountain cottage with panoramic valley and escarpment views.
The space is open-plan with two wood fireplaces, a full kitchen, and two living and dining areas. Warm timber, textured walls, and large windows connect the interior to the landscape.
Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms. The master looks directly over the valley.
Outside, a generous deck with BBQ extends the living space. There is a fire pit for starry mountain nights and a small dam area with bean bags and rocking chairs — perfect for sunset views.
There is no TV — nature provides the entertainment.

Internal stairs, External stairs / steps, Both bedrooms are located upstairs. The last 3 km of the drive is on a dirt road. It is accessible with most cars, but a bit bumpy and shared with local wildlife, and should be taken slowly.
