I'm retired from a career in teaching, mainly art & English. I enjoy a quiet lifestyle but thrive on live music events and art exhibitions wherever I am. The light and breezy 2 storey house has its open plan living area, beds, laundry & baths upstairs, with timber decks facing north, east and west.
High speed wifi reaches a third studio /office/spare bed room downstairs. It's glass sliding door opens onto an east facing small paved front courtyard, with a hedge that screens off a lawn at the street front.
Bed 1 has a queen bed & en-suite, & a full bathroom that serves bed 2 where there's a double bed. The living room with smart TV faces east and has sliding doors opening onto the east and north decks where shutters allow for peaceful & private outdoor living. The spacious kitchen has dishwasher, coffee machine, electric stovetop & oven, & the connected dining area looks out onto the private and relaxing back western deck with garden bed.
There is a double driveway to park your car/s and street parking at the front.

My home is attractive for those interested in a relaxing coastal holiday, strategically located in one of the most beautiful in Australia, where rain-forests meet the sea. Apart from swimming, the hinterland caldera created by the extinct volcano Wollumbin, provides a wide variety of day-trips by car, from bushwalks in virgin rainforest to local village markets, cafes, art galleries etc. The Gold Coast is an hour's drive away, with mainstream attractions.
