Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Old Beach, Old Beach, TAS
Paul is a retired builder (he built the home) and Sandra worked as a librarian/adult teacher resigned in her mid 50s and went back to uni to study nutrition, researched, wrote and published a book on rowing. Paul builds wooden boats and Sandra works casually - we are both semi-retired. Our adult children have all moved on which has enabled us to travel. We both kayak, row, walk and in summer cycle. We are looking for a change of scenery and to explore a little more of Australia after spending all our holidays overseas.

Our home is located on the Derwent River, 20km from the CBD. Split level design with workshop and two garages underneath. The lounge, kitchen and master bedroom have views across the river. The house is next door to a jetty and walking track which meanders along the waterfront. Inside the house are lots of bookshelves crammed with new and secondhand books - purchased on our travels. Paul has built a wooden kayak - the river is right at your front door to explore.
