Hi! We’re a Melbourne-based couple in our early 30s travelling with our young baby. We love exploring new places at a slower pace, discovering great cafes and restaurants, wandering through local markets, going for walks, and enjoying cozy nights in. We’re very house-proud and naturally tidy people. Our own home is well cared for, and we’d treat yours with the same level of respect, keeping everything clean, organised, and just as we found it. We’re non-smokers and live a calm, homey lifestyle, especially at this stage with a young baby. We’re new to house swapping but really drawn to the idea of experiencing destinations more like locals than tourists. We’re flexible with dates and open to a range of stays, whether it’s a coastal escape, a city break, or somewhere peaceful in nature.

Our home is a 1930s Californian bungalow situated in the heart of Murrumbeena.
The home has 3 bedrooms, one features a queen bed and ensuite, the second has a with queen sized bed and the third is set up as a nursery. It also has a dual home office, which is perfect for remote working.
The house features a spacious open-plan living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely outdoor deck that’s perfect for a morning coffee or winding down in the evening. At the front, there’s a beautiful yard enclosed by a fence, adding both privacy and a welcoming sense of space.
We’re located in a quiet, family-friendly street, just a short distance from local cafes, restaurants, parks, and shops, with easy access to public transport into the Melbourne CBD. It’s a great base for exploring both the city and the surrounding neighbourhoods while enjoying a more peaceful, local feel.
