Located on far North Coast NSW close to Byron Bay and hinterland.Alstonville is 1 hour from Gold Coast Airport and 2 hours from Brisbane. "Six-star camping" is how we describe this comfortable home nestled against a rainforest remnant with a permanent spring fed creek (with plunge pool) and lots of bird life, and the occasional wallaby or scrub turkey, feeding in the back yard. Despite this sense of sanctuary, we are on the edge of a village with walking distance access to supermarkets, pharmacies, pools, pubs, and restaurants. Atop a red soil plateau, with cooling breezes, the twin villages of Wollongbar and Alstonville are less than 15 mins drive to beautiful swimming beaches, 20 mins to world class surfing beaches and 30 mins to the Mecca of Byron Bay. Easy access to multiple National Parks with waterfalls and bush walking. This modern light and airy home has large private decks for lazy breakfasts, languorous lunches or those all important late afternoon liquid refreshments. Plenty of private nooks to sit and read, full wi-fi, and three bathrooms! There is accommodation for 4 cars with 2 undercover spaces. Reverse cycle Air conditioning and ceiling fans ensure all year round comfort. The fenced yard allows space for a house trained, non-shedding small dog with dog doors for access inside.
