Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in SMITHFIELD, CAIRNS, QLD
My name is Julia and I enjoy travelling and weekends away. I have done both house sitting and house swapping! I've lived in Cairns for 11 years but still have friends and family in Melbourne and would love to visit them more often. I am open to any swap experiences and would also happily look after any animals like they were my own.

Our lovely home is located in Smithfield, 15-20 mins from the CBD and all that Cairns has to offer. Palm Cove is only 10-15 mins north and 45 mins north to Port Douglas.
There are 3 bedrooms (2 QBs, 1 DB) plus a separate study/small media room, which can accommodate extra beds/guests if required. All rooms have fans and air-conditioners. The house has both a pool and spa to keep you cool and there is access to wifi, Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Amazon, etc.
I have both a dog and cat who may need looking after, but they are fairly low-maintenance (besides the dog walking) and the cat loves to be brushed.
The lawns won't need to be maintained as I have a gardener, but would appreciate people who are happy to give the pot plants a watering every few days.

The moment we walked into Julia's house, any feelings of anxiety we had about completing our first house swap disappeared. Her house was immaculate and we knew she would take great care of our home. The location was perfect, the home was amazing, the pool and the hottub were exquisite. The space had everything we needed and was so homely. When we got back to our house, not only was it immaculate as we anticipated it would be but, we were welcomed to some lovely gifts, bread, milk and a bowl full of fresh fruit.
